Hi everybody. Welcome to Sloan Stitches. If you’re new here, my name is Jess and this is Auggie and this is my channel about crossstitching. Today is Tuesday, November 25th, just a couple days before Thanksgiving here in the United States. It is a very wet, cold day here in Cincinnati, Ohio. I hope you have better weather where you are. Uh, if you’re a returning viewer, welcome back. I am thankful for you. There’s the corn. There’s the cheese for your Thanksgiving holiday. I am thankful for all of you. And we’re going to get right into it. Are you leaving? Okay, we got to go that way, though. She’s the main character. Okay, let’s settle in here. I’ve had a busy last couple weeks, everybody. This time of year, man, it is a lot and I know everyone kind of feels it. But we do have some stuff to go over today. Um, I’ve got a winner for my giveaway from last week’s video. I have a new Christmas themed giveaway to start up this time around. I’ve got my November wrap-up uh with some goals that I accomplished and some that I did not. I’ve got lots of Christmas stitching in coming, which is very exciting. Christmas stitching is my favorite. One of my favorites. I found this year that I really, really lashed on to Halloween stitching, but I do really, really love Christmas stitching. So, I’ve actually already got one of my quote unquote 12 whips of Christmas finished. So, I’m going to replace it, I think, which might be crazy, but it’s what we’re going to do. and I’ve got several whips to show you. So, let’s get right into it. I always say that these are not going to be very long videos. Today, I might mean it. We’ll see. First, right off the bat, I wanted to spend some time in November finishing up any whips that I had not touched since my video with my whip parade, my midyear whip parade in June. And by finishing up, I mean like making sure I’ve touched everything on the list. I did not finish any of these projects. Uh the first one left on that list is O2 Libraries. This is from Heartstring Sampler. When you saw this back in June in my midyear whip parade, it looked like this. And I got a couple days on this just a about a week ago. This is on a 32count Lugana in macchiato from Me. I’m doing this two over two I believe. No. Yeah, sure am doing all of the called for DMC’s except I subbed in a few different ones for some of them and I’m using a bstitch me silk like a really pretty purple. I’ll show you for the lettering. And I’m kind of interspersing it throughout the rest of the piece as well. And I’ll take it out. I think you can see it in the bag. It doesn’t have a name. It’s just sample silk. But very, very pretty. And honestly, I have the called for color that was in the letters. I’m just doing this because I wanted to use the silk and I thought it matched very well. So, I did it because it’s my project and why not? So, here is where I am now. So, got quite a bit more of the words finished and made it all the way down to the book. I have started on the book. I’ll fold this up a little better so you can see it. Forgive the cat hair. You saw what I deal with on a regular basis. So, put in a lot more letters, brought this all the way down, got the bird in, got some more vegetation in, and started on the book. So, my lighting today is not going to be the best, but I feel like the fabric here is showing up fairly true. These gloomy days, they’re not the best for filming, but that’s okay. It is what it is. That’s real life. So, I’m really happy with where that one’s at. And I wanted to show I know I showed these when I got them from Abby at Mountain Mama Stitches. I’ll tag her below because she makes these things. And I know I gave one away, but I have my little libraries are for everyone fob/sipperpool that she gave me on this bag because I assume that this is what made her think of me was this project for that one. So, thanks again, Abby. It makes me smile when I see it and it goes so well with my bag. Okay, next let’s do my carline stitching. So, if you’re new here, I picked a project to start on my son’s first day of middle school because going into middle school, they combine the elementaryaries and they become one big school in our district and they have a mascot that is a wolf. So, I wanted to stitch the cottage garden samplings wolf for him. This is the first one, I believe. Yeah. in the um the year in the woods 2 collection that she’s put out. Let me move some of this stuff out of the way. This is where it was around the time you last saw it. I take a picture of it every week and post my project progress on Instagram. This is almost done. So, I am not doing the foliage that’s above the wolf or the little cabin. I decided instead I wanted to chart out the uh alphabetic logo for my son’s district and include that instead since this is a piece about him and his school. So I did that and they have two logos but the one is a wolf head which redundant, right? So I did the letters and I think they came out fairly accurate. Um, obviously not perfect, but they look enough like it. Let me put something behind this cuz this fabric is pretty see-through. I’m doing this on a piece of 36count linen in the color nothing from Mystic Fabrics. And here’s where I am. I mean, it’s almost done. I have to fill in the seat. And all of this is filling. I don’t even necessarily need the pattern anymore. I just have to fill in like these like his honches here are two different colors. And then his back and then I’m filling in the C 37.99 which is fun because on this fabric it pulls the navy blue out of it really well. And navy blue is one of his school colors. They’re navy blue and gray. So, a little bit of color theory for you on this fabric. 37.99 does not pull dark gray. It pulls navy blue. Doesn’t he look great? I’m so happy to be close to done with him. The end of our semester is in 3 weeks, I think. 3 weeks after this, I believe, is what they have left. And do you know that the last 12 days of school before Christmas, they are doing the 12 spirit days of Christmas? I was like 12 of them in a row. We probably won’t do all of them. That’s insane. Yeah. I’m so happy with how he’s coming along. Be done before you know it. probably by the end of the semester and then I can start my new one when second semester starts. Very excited for that. Let’s see. I have a whole bunch of Christmas projects stacked over here. So, if ever the computer just goes that way, it’s because I accidentally knocked them all over. It could happen. Okay, next out of my rotation, my second to last, no, third to last project that was left in my list that had not been touched since my whip parade was my flowers. This is a pattern by Boomerang Stitches, which is my friend Amity, who is one half of the Hathaway Stitchers. I bought this at StitchCon because we went to different weekends and I knew she wouldn’t let me buy it if she was there with me. So, I took advantage of the opportunity and purchased it. I kitted this up completely at StitchCon. I picked an 18count ADA from Millennial Fabrics, who I will also link below. And I’m very excited because I am going to go to their first ever retreat next summer. And then I believe I’m going to see her stitch away in January which is very exciting. So I picked a piece of 18 count and river rock from them and then I kitted it up just completely by eye with colors that were hanging on the floss wall they had in the annex. These are from Romy’s Creations and almond M&M’s. They’re kind of a mess right now, but you you get the point. And it’s so funny. I posted a picture of these in my Instagram story and AMD was like, “I know what you’re working on.” I said, “You have a really good eye.” So, this is where it was in my whip parade. Just one little flower and part of another. And it’s very wrinkly. My apologies. Got a couple more flowers in. I love this. I love working with these silks. I love working on this pattern because it’s geometric and easy to follow and the pathing is easy to plan out. Especially using this variegated floss, I don’t have to think too much about it. It just works up perfectly. And there’s nothing better than variegation just working up perfectly like you want it to. I love this. Such a fun pattern. So, I think there’s seven flowers in all. So, almost halfway done. So, very exciting. Can’t wait to get back to that one in the new year. And most of these are just going to be 2026 plans because we only have a few days left in November and then December is going to be almost completely dedicated to Christmas stitching, which is exactly the way I like it. Okay, moving forward. Also picking up from the rotation just to get some work on it before the end of the year is Monster Wonder Whale. This is from Al Forest Embroidery. This one I’ve almost been working on for 2 years. I kind of got away from it. Didn’t know if I wanted to keep working on it. decided I did want to keep working on it. Whole thing. I’m so close to being finished. I think one maybe two more rotations and this will be finished. And probably just one because if I work on it for a couple of days and it’s that close, I’ll probably just dedicate the time to go ahead and finish it. This is where it was when you saw it in my whip braid. I’m doing this on a 16c count ADA in platinum swart using the DMC conversion. I do not have the alforest flosses. You ready? Yeah. So, the whale is done, which is big news. So, I have vegetation up here and I have things here and I have the rest of the sea. And this is done. I’m obsessed. I started this on opening day for baseball last year, which is why there’s this random baseball needle minder on this project. And you know, I have a whale needle minder sitting on my magnet board on my stitching bookshelf and I just need to make the switch. But I don’t know, I’m lazy sometimes. It’s fine. I think it looks great. I know the Al Forest flosses would add something a little extra to it. But I think it looks just fine with the DMC. So don’t let the fact that you can’t afford or don’t want to bother with the import or anything like that with the Al Forest flosses themselves. I don’t really think they’re necessary. I think the look is different, but just fine. So I’m loving that. I was thinking like, do I want to do another Al Forest piece once this one’s done? And the answer is yes. It’s just a matter of which one. I have an Emerald City one from them, like their Wizard of Oz piece. I think that was a freebie. Might still be. I’m not sure. I haven’t been to their site in quite a while. But I might do that cuz, you know, happy belated wicked weekend to all who celebrate. Uh, I’ve been listening to the soundtrack for the second movie non-stop since last week. Can’t help it. Wicked. Like, I’m not like a super fan like I know some people are, but I’ve seen the Broadway show several times, seen the movies. Um, but I started as a fan of the book and the book series by Greg White decades ago, three decades ago almost, I guess. Almost. I mean, pretty close. I was like late teens when I read it. Um, so I guess a couple decades. Um, don’t read the books thinking it’s going to be the movie. It is not that. It is not that. Um, but I was obsessed with them and I have met Gregory McGuire and my signed I have a signed original copy of Wicked or my original copy of Wicked anyway. So, I’m not like super obsessed with it, but I do love it. So, I’m kind of wanting to do another Wizard of Oz piece cuz I did the Wizard of Oz tree from Tiny Modernist a while back. We’ll see. We’ll see. Those are all plans. They also released a couple of like monotone samplers recently. I might look into those too. Anyway, moving on. Nobody cares about that right now, including me. Uh, my secret stitching, which I am now officially starting to panic stitch on a little. This is Van Go Frog. This is from Cherry Mary store on Etsy. I started this back in September. This is a Christmas gift for my husband for his office. We love the Muppets. I thought this was really funny. I think I have a picture when you last saw it, but I am always in such a panic when I stitch this that I tend to forget pictures. But now we’re exactly a month away from Christmas and I need to kick it up a notch. And he’s at work yesterday and today. So I pulled it out again yesterday to put some stitches in it and I’m going to do it again today before he gets home. but then he’s off the rest of the week. So, I’m I’m losing time. So, we are panic stitching on Kermit. But, we’re getting there. We’re at like 63% I think is what Pattern Keeper told me yesterday. We’re getting there. We might do it. We might make it. There he is. I had to put in his eyeballs. He was starting to creep me out. There was a void there where his eyes were I couldn’t handle it anymore. So now it’s really starting to look like Kermit. And I just love this so much. And it’s so funny because he was just telling me a couple days ago that he feels like his actual office within his office space is very bare and very boring and not very him. And I was like, “Oh, you should get some art to decorate that, honey.” So it’s all coming together. Love that. It’s starting to get hard to hide it from him because he’s not one of those spouses that doesn’t care about what I’m doing. Like he likes to look at my projects and see what’s going on and all. He’s very interested. I tried to get him to stitch and he wouldn’t. He said he doesn’t have the patience, but he’s very interested in what I’m doing. So, hiding this from him has been something else. That’s a good thing, right? It’s a good things. Okay, one last whip to go over and then we can look at a start and finish and a fully finish. I finished one of my Christmas presents. This is the Moonlight Sampler from Blue Flower. It was my WhipGo number three for November. It is also a whipgo call for December because obviously once November’s numbers were pulled, we knew December’s. So, I put four sessions in on it in November. And I’ll put four more in on it in December amongst my Christmas stitching. This is where it was when you last saw it, I think, in my whip parade because I don’t think I’ve touched this one this last 6 months either, which is sad because this is one of my favorite projects. I have made some color changes to this because I did not choose the darker color fabric. I went with a lighter, dirtier looking fabric. So, I had to make a couple of color adjustments, including with the words. But, I love it. I think it works great. And I also changed the cat uh to be facing backwards cuz I wanted to make it pure black because we had a pure black cat cat growing up. And I have changed the hair on the woman to look more like my mom’s hair. And I changed the dog’s coloring and his collar to look like her dog, Georgie. So, this is just kind of another little memorial piece for my mom. Just threw a few little touches that reminded me of her. And here’s where we are. I’ve got both sides complete. So, I really worked all down here for whip go. So, I brought the full border all the way down this You can’t see the flowers very well on the video, but you can see them in person. They’re there. I probably should have made them white or purple or something. If it really bothers me, I’ll pull them out and redo them. But they’re in the called for for now. It would take me half an hour to pull those out and then redo them. So, no big deal. We’ll see. I might. So, got all the vines done. All the foliage done. The little like I guess it’s a cloch sort of thing is done and I’ve started on the bottom border. So, all I have left is that little bottom section and the alphabet with the animals in it and it’s done. Very happy with that. Good progress on that if I do say so myself. I’m so excited to have this one finished. I started when did I start this? August of 2023. So, this is over 2 years old. Um Oh, this is a piece of 20count EDA. It’s um from Vintage Needle Arts on Etsy. It’s in Nantucket Prim. So like it’s very dirty looking and it’s very it came very stiff now two years of working on it. It’s not as stiff anymore. But like you can see the back like it’s I don’t know how the the dying process worked. The back is almost plastic. Like you know which side is the right side to stitch on on this fabric. So kind of odd, but I do recommend it because it’s been really good to work on. All right, ready? We have a fully finish and a start and finish. Both of which are very unusual for me. So, we’ll start with the fully finished first cuz you’ve seen this finished recently. This is reindeer games, the game board portion from Erica Michaels. And I stitched this for a segment of my family that shall remain nameless. I don’t know if they watch these videos, but they might. Here it is. It’s not perfect, but it’s good enough. It’s pinned to some foam core. It’s like in there. Like there’s it’s felt the balcony. I felted the back. I did not do glass. I liked the look without glass, which means I’ll probably have to pick cat hair off of it before I wrap it up. Isn’t it cute? I picked this frame. It’s just like a composite wooden frame, but I knew I wanted dark wood and I wanted no glass and I wanted to pin it and do the felt back. So, I’m proud of this one. I just I had um Barbara from keepsakes in my head because I didn’t take the finishing class in at Situay last this past winter uh where she taught the pinning but um a couple of friends did and they were like she just kept saying more pins more pins. So as I was doing this I like more pins, put in more pins. So I’m proud of it. I think they’re going to love it. So sit that somewhere very gently. I could see that cat coming back up here just like happened before. Okay, so my start and finish my staff is the we Santa 2025 from Heart and Hands. Now look very closely at this picture. And mine’s not going to look like this. I decided I didn’t want to do the words. And uh I knew that without the words it was going to look kind of weird and not centered right. So I decided to move the bird. So I’ll show you on here cuz I’m sure the picture is gone by now. This guy on the presents right here. I decided to take him out here and put him over here. It’s very easy. Doing these kinds of changes is probably daunting to some people, but they’re so easy. Don’t let that scare you. So, I also did my own conversion on this. I’m not going to go through all of the colors individually. If you’re interested, I do have my conversion written down in a note on my phone and I can send it to you. Just send me a message on Instagram or send me an email. Both will be linked down below in the description and I’ll shoot it over to you. So, here is my conversion. It’s just a mix of things. It’s classic color works. There’s a couple weeks. There’s some bes just things that I’ve picked up at like thrift stores or leftovers from other projects. So, you make things out and I know the camera may look. It’s fine. So, I did my own conversion. And here’s what mine looks like. This is on a piece of 16count ada in cookie dough from needle bling. This is my leftover from the um StitchCon exclusive this year. There he is. They’re so cute. I love the little guy poking his head out there. I love them. It’s a little big on this 16C count to be an ornament. So, I think I’ll probably do like a flat fold or something cuz you can see like I don’t have like the world’s biggest head, but it’s a decent size. So, we’ll we’ll get him finished up somehow or another. I love him. I love him so much. Super easy to stitch. Very easy pattern to follow, as all of hers normally are. This is the first we Santa I’ve ever done. But he caught my eye. I love him. So yeah, a start and a finish. Who knew I had it in me? It helps that we had a ton of plans last week and into last weekend and I didn’t have a ton of time to really switch between projects and think that through. So, I had started this because I knew I needed to start some Christmas things in November in order to not just have new start after new start in December, which I’m still kind of going to. We’ll get into that here in a second cuz things don’t always go to plan. So, I just kept working on this and finished it. Okay. So, let’s just turn this completely Christmas. Let’s do the ho ho ho of it all. We’re going to start with giveaways because I know some people don’t really care about plans, which is fine. I get it. They’re my plans, not yours. It’s loud. Sorry. So, we’ll do the giveaways first. So, if you want to dip out, dip out. So, last time I had this up for grabs. This is Christmas wagons from Annabella’s. And I asked you to use the keyword wagon in your comment if you wanted to win this. And I will put up a comment here. The winner is Jill Poise 2974. So Jill, if you’re watching, send me an email or send me a message on Instagram and give me your mailing address and I will get this out in the mail to you probably next week because my husband’s not going back to work again this week after today. So I won’t have a chance to get it out till then, but I’ll get it out ASAP so that you can work on it for this Christmas if you want. Congratulations. This week I have I’ll pull it out of the first set of plastic. I had to double bag it because I kind of ruined the main bag. I was at our local antique mall. Um not the little one that’s like 5 minutes from my house, which is like my favorite place ever right now, but I went to our big Ohio Valley antique mall, which is also up there in my list of favorite places. And there was a booth that had some vintage and just in general older kits, full kits of things. And they had this Milh Hill armed stocking kit. So this is a little guy. This is when finished 2.25x 4 in. But it’s everything. It was It’s brand new. It’s got the beads, the perforated paper, the pattern, the floss, everything you need to build this out. And this, so it’s a multi-layer thing. So like the stocking is a piece, the cuff is a piece, I think. Yes. And then like these things in it are a piece. So it’s involved. It’s very intricate. It’s beautiful. So I picked this up because it’s not my style, but I knew that someone would love it. It is brand new. I opened it to make sure all of the pieces were in it. So, I kind of like ruined the bag. So, we’ve got a backup. It will all get to you in one piece. I promise. It’s brand new. So, if you would like the chance to win this, I will need you to leave a comment. No, just general rules. No key words for spammers like giveaway, winner, contest, entry, all those types of things. You have to be 18. I have to ask for your address. Uh, it is going to be United States only. And don’t worry if you’re from somewhere else. I am going to do a more virtual giveaway in my next video. The plans are out there. I think they’re swirling in my little head. So, right there, the keyword will be stalking. So, use the word stalking in your comment. You don’t have to get creative with it, although I kind of like that. But as long as the word stocking is in your comments, you will be entered. I am filming again on let’s see flying by Tuesday, December 9th. So, leave the word stocking in your comment by Monday, December 8th, and I’ll pick a winner that night. Good luck. Get this back in this other plastic. Not sorry at all for the crinkles because I don’t want to lose any of these little pieces. Okay, all I have left are plans. I have one piece of haul which I’m just going to fla really quick. This is the stitch me fabric of the month from November. If you haven’t seen it, don’t look. Actually, it’s not. It’s not. That’s in the mailbox. Literally, I just got the shipping notification. This is from Friday Night Fight Night. This is a 20c count Ada in slate. So, a very nice dark gray. You know, nothing exciting, but I need it. I might actually use this for something I have fitted here now that I’m thinking about this clearly. We’ll see. You’re going to see the gerbles running in my head in real time. Okay, Christmas plans. So, I have decided to do the 12 whips of Christmas. Uh, right now we were originally down one because I went nuts and finished we Santa. We’re actually really down two because last time I talked about a pattern that I had found on Etsy that I wasn’t sure if it was AI or not. And I think it is. I think it is. So, I will just show you quickly. This is not You can tell I don’t like it because it’s not in a fancy bag. So, this is called Santa stitching or stitching Santa or something like that. And I gave it a couple of days because I really wanted to give it a and I had done a bunch of investigation, vetting, like looking at people’s reviews with photos, like everything looked fine. But the more I stitch on it, the more I really think that this was AI generated and then thrown into a pattern creator. So, you live and you learn. I got duped. It happens. It hasn’t happened in a really long time, but sometimes you can do all of the research and look at everything you think you need to look at and it still happens. So, I’m going to flash this up. I’m not going to recommend the shop because I know it’s AI. I just know it. And I’m just gonna I mean he looks all right from a distance. So he’s like sitting in an armchair and he’s like stitching and it’s cute. I’m probably gonna work on it some, but it’s not part of my actual plans. Like if I bring this in like you can tell like that that sucker is regenerated. But from a distance he’s pretty cute. I can hang him up high on a wall. Well, what are you gonna do? So, we’re going to replace him, too. And the 12 whips of Christmas. And this is going to be my hidden secret shame 13th Christmas project that I may or may not work on. At least it’s in pattern paper. And it’s not like a tonic confetti. Like, I I do think that they tried to clean up pattern once it was generated. It’s just very obviously an AI image and not real art. One of those. So, it is what it is. So, let’s really quick go through the projects that I have already started that are within my 12 whips of Christmas. I’m not going to drag them all out. As I work on them, we will go into more detail. We’re just going to show like this and throw a picture up here. That’s how we’re going to get through this quickly. So, this is North Pole from Kathy Bareric. That’s one. Number two is Santa’s Night Tree from Hello from Liz Matthews. Here’s a cat. This could get dangerous. Number three is Christmas Witch. Kath Bareric counts them both as Halloween and Christmas. Very nice. Number four is The 12 Movie Nights of Christmas from Atomic Tiki Pens. Number five is All is Bright by Stitchrovia. This is from her new Mary Stitchmiss book. So, I am going to show you this because I don’t know if there’s a Hi, Augby. There’s the cat. I don’t know if there’s a picture on that I can show, but here you go. So, that’s number five. And then we’re going into projects that I have not started yet. So, future of Christmas. Number six is Christmas on the beach from Dimensions. It’s a gold kit. Number seven is Tinsel Town from Stitchroia. This was in a magazine. It’s the most recent one. I can’t remember which one. We’ll talk about it when I get there. Losing my voice. That was no good. Number eight is Peace on Earth from Leela’s Studio. Number nine is Ule Cat from Quernian Creations. And I have my own color conversion for this one that I’m very excited to share with you when we get there. Number nine is Magic of Christmas from Tiny Modernist. I am starting this at the jingle ball with my friend Catherine counting my stitches. Number 11 is the first of two that I very quickly kitted up in the last couple days when I realized I needed two more projects to get up to 12. This is Winter Garden from Hello from Liz Matthews. I am also doing my own conversion on this. And then number 12 is December’s Holly from Cottage Garden Samplings. Also doing my own color conversion on this. So there we go. I’m so excited. So excited. I love Christmas stitching and I just especially these some of these stones. Like I mean I love my current Christmas projects obviously or I would DNF them. But some of these are just falling out to me and I’m so excited to get started on them. So speaking of the Jingle Ball, I will be there. I will definitely be there Friday night and Saturday night. And this is all next weekend. So this is December 5th, 6th and 7th. Tickets are still on sale. I think some classes are still available PDF-wise. I don’t know about kids cuz we’re coming down to it, but check out the Lendy Stitches website. I could be wrong. So, I will definitely be there Friday night. I will be there quite a bit on Saturday. And then In and Out on Sunday. Uh we are going to be watching a live stream of my 2-year-old niece, who was a mouse in the Nutcracker. They live about an hour and 45 minutes from us. So, not necessarily worth it for us to spend like $64 on tickets and drive down there to watch her be a mouse for approximately 20 25 seconds, but we’re going to pay the 15 bucks for the live stream and watch her. So, I’ll be on and off. I will be in the stitching rooms a ton. So, please, if you run into me, don’t be afraid to say hi. I’m so excited. I get to reconnect with a lot of people that I hung out with at Harvest Moon Hangout. I’m very excited to spend some more time with them and chat and stitch with them. So, can’t wait. Looking forward to that. Other than that, life has just been life. We went to Lexington last weekend with my best friend of about 35 years. We’ve been best friends since we were in kindergarten. uh to celebrate her 40th birthday a few weeks late. Went to a few wineries and went to a nice fancy steak dinner and just had the best time with her. Um this weekend we went to a couple volleyball games at the university that my husband works for and that we both graduated from. Um I have both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from there and watched the women’s volleyball team in the uh conference uh tournament. So watched them in the semi-finals and then in the finals which unfortunately they lost but it was a lot of fun. ran into my master’s thesis mentor twice and I just adore him and it was so good to see him again and he got to meet Gavin for the first time since he was a baby and the kid is up to my chin now and I am 6 feet tall so it’s always a shock to people that haven’t met him since he was like a potato so that was fun and other than that just Looking forward to Thanksgiving on Thursday. We are going to my in-laws for the first time ever on actual Thanksgiving. Uh my whole life I spent Thanksgiving with my family. When I married my husband, he also spent Thanksgiving with my family cuz we were local up here. Um this last like 8 years, it’s just been us and my mom. Uh when she passed last year, I looked right at him and I said, “I’m not doing Thanksgiving. We’re going to Disney World.” And we did and had the best time. But this year, I think it’s time to move forward and start a new not maybe not tradition because I think next year we might go to Universal for Thanksgiving, but a new thing. So, we’re going to go to my in-laws on Thanksgiving on Thursday, which is also my sister-in-law’s birthday. So, that’ll be fun. And then, yeah, it’s just Christmas. It’s Christmas all around. Our decorations have been up since November 1st. I’m that person. Can’t help it. That’s it. If you are American and you are celebrating Thanksgiving, happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time with your family. enjoy the food and the football and all of those things. If you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, have a great Thursday. Have a great rest of your week. Have a great next couple weeks. I hope you get a lot of stitching done and you find things to do that bring you joy, whatever those happen to be. And I will catch up with you all in two weeks. Bye y’all.

  1. I will be attending the jingle ball as well, I just haven't bought my ticket yet but will do so this weekend. Your sister-in-law and my mom share a birthday, so that's fun. I hope you have a great thanksgiving and will probably run in to you at the Jingle Ball.

  2. I’m also stitching My Flowers, and love it for the same reasons you do. Working on white 28 ct evenweave with Classic Colorworks conversion. I’m not sure yet about the Jingle Ball… we have hockey on both Saturday and Sunday. I enjoyed seeing this latest update. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
