Last spring I added a single Montia parvifolia rosette to my woodland garden. As you can see, it's extremely happy. I did not expect this but I do like it.
My problem: the area I've circled in purple is full of years old Erythronium bulbs.
Will the Montia compete with the Erythroniums? Do I need to pull a bunch of it?

I love montia parvifolia. It shouldn’t cause any issues once the erythronium are established – I’ve seen them coming up through English ivy. If the bulbs are still young you could clear away some of the montia this year. You can throw the montia bits on top of any damp soil and they’ll probably take. I notice you also have some strawberry, I would be more worried about them crowding out the erythronium.
