Hey all. I have to pave the pictures area to put a shed in. I was a landscaper for a few years twenty years ago and sadly I’ve forgotten the specifics. I’ve dug it down to roughly the depth of two pavers (I have whole pavers. Those two halves were just to hand) my plan, unless told otherwise is to put down sand to the depth of one paver, then flatten it out with, to be honest, a gyprock/drywall float thingy, lay pavers, then sweep sand into the gaps. The shed will have a floor so it doesn’t have to look perfect. It just has to stay there. How does my plan sound?

just 2x25kg coarse sand base+gaps if you like and can lay geo fabric 2m2 keep weeds away and preventing sinking , cover your soil compactor with mouse pad and do above the pavers
