How can I fix this and get it upright on its own?
Was inside all its life but past 2 years it has constantly leaned toward the window. Frequent rotations just seemed to accelarate growth and leaning. Today I took it outside and unstaked it only to realize the extent of the damage 😂

It is simply reaching for the sunshine so I am guessing you do not rotate the pot a quarter turn weekly.
Be sure never to plat this into the ground as they grow huge and their root system is exceptionally invasive. So place into a larger pot and like all pots you should change the mix every 2 to 3 years.
Stick behind it, tight it up, done.
Poor bugger, it’s been 36c at my place all day and I feel exactly the same.
I’d probably rotate it so it can lean on the wall. I’ve been told you should shake figs every now and then to stimulate rainfall, apparently that helps strengthen trunks but who knows?
