When you’ve had a hard frost and your lawn looks like this, don’t walk on it. Cuz all the little blades have got frozen cells in them. If you stand on them, the cells break and the blades die. And then you get marks all over your lawn all winter. too. Walk around the edge and not the grass. Also, while it’s rusty, make sure you keep your water holes open cuz don’t forget this is where the birds get the drinks because this is going to be a regular thing. I’ll float a tennis ball with it. that will always leave a hole. And finally, a little tip to keep your black birds happy. Now, they love apples, and apples will give them both nutrition and hydration.
