it’s Laura Eubanks of design for serenity with the grand reveal in Fullerton 5 days six crew and about nine ton of rock and 10 yards of soil 10 ton of rock uh and more plants than you can shake a stick at and we are duners so this client uh followed me uh has only been following me for for recently she went on vacation to Wisconsin to visit her son and it was snowing and she spent like three weeks just binging on videos and reached out to me when they returned home and said would you consider doing my yard so she wanted a classic Laura Eubanks in uh installation and I hope that we have provided that for her I did my classic uh black sometimes I do burgundy um third element of lava uh this is a little more of a formal application we’re also messing around with more of a Jackson poic look sometimes we just do Rubble ribbons it kind of just depends on the client and their bent and their interest I consider this to be more of an art installation than anything else it’s you know uh some of the installations we’re doing will be more more natural like uh for example Poway we’re going to be back in Poway at the end of the month finishing up their yard and that will be more of a natural installation Hannah completed this darling vignette over here underneath the kitchen window we pulled in you know a few specimen plants she she uh blew out some little areas in colorful tapestry and then used some leftover River Rock at the base of the found mountain and it looks so good I love that she thought to use the river rock because it really pulls in the dry stream too isn’t that so pretty and the water splashes out onto those onto those River Rocks uh she was able to cover up the base of the fountain which the client really liked and yeah I’m just extremely happy with that we also blew out this pot the client had these uh calines and I wanted I didn’t want to use them in the the landscape because they grow kind of funky and tall and I just didn’t think it would work but I love them in the pot we found this cute little calico kitten Cula at Home Depot and then we we used some more sedums that we had left over from our tapestry work around it so that pot will get um pretty much full sun until around noon or 1:00 in the afternoon then over here I brought in another element of black along the dry stream bed we also stopped by last night and checked out the Daddy’s lights and determined that a couple needed moved and he needed to add a couple more if you would like to see this Garden lit up please go over to Instagram at Laur love succulence and you will be able to see some uh some video and photo of the nighttime Garden what Greg is about to start doing right now is the wet look remember I used to use this all the time uh got away from it because it didn’t last longterm uh but despite that the client really really wanted to go with a wet look on the dry stream bed and I think that’s genius she understands that we might need to reapply from time to time and she’s uh she’s willing to do that but won’t it be phenomenal to see these uh rocks all wet all the time again to see this finished look check out my Instagram at Laura love sucul Hannah will take some pictures when Greg is done with this so that you can see the effect I have a third element of black over here remember me and my ones threes and fives right so I got my ones and threes oh my gosh you guys at night that piece of Driftwood this is a piece of ghostwood from Driftwood Larry at seafoam seafoam Driftwood seafoam right seafoam yeah um I’ve got this at waterwise Botanicals cuz he Pro he supplies to them and it lights up beautifully I a special thanks also let’s remember Matt Jones at rare root Jones rare Roots for providing this incredible multi-headed yaka Rada and these giant perfect Golden Barrel cacti he has a Facebook page if you’d like to contact him to see about getting some really cool specimens for yourself please uh check him out and I want to thank my clients uh Deborah and PO for being the most gracious of hosts throughout this week from bringing us Donuts in the morning to cooking us homemade lunches they have just been so kind so uh we uh thank them my crew who obviously I can’t do any of this without this Garden is dialed in guys I mean this is perfect every single Rock has been considered um the not just the positioning of it but I I mean we picked out every piece of detrus uh it’s just just amazing what this crew does and they’re so passionate about doing it so we will see you I guess the next time I’ll see you is in Poway we’ve also got a couple of smaller projects coming up in February too that’ll be really really fun looks like daddy’s getting a little bit of wet look done can you show them uh for the video can you do a little bit of the river rock yeah River Rock yeah let them see how what that’s going to look like and so it’s a it’s a per semi I think it’s semi-permeable lacquer right in front of you Greg the the river rock the actual Pebbles yeah do the Pebbles and see and it’s just going to look like that all the time love love love love love all right okay guys well thank you again so much for following for all the kindness that you always extend and support we look forward to seeing you at the next one bye guys

  1. I live in New Caledonia. Your videos are really inspiring and have motivated me to create this kind of garden at home (we enjoy a relatively dry climate for a tropical area). I still despair of not finding such a variety of succulent plants here (aloes and crassulacea among others). I have already managed to get some big golden barrels. Thanks again for the inspiration.

  2. Looks ok i guess but guarantee nobody spends any time out there in the summer with no shade
    Missing large trees
Desert landscape with no shade is nearly useless lol

  3. Hope you are all doing well. Love what you do and miss your bouts of absence in between and hope you're healing from all your losses. Keep doing what you're doing love everything you're doing it's so beautiful and you're so talented and it's so inspiring ❤️

  4. This is such an art! It's so pleasing to see this garden, even though I could only see it on my screen. I reaaaally really like the selection and variety of rocks, and the boulders! The succulent tapestry and ribboning together make this stunning mosaic.

  5. As always, absolutely beautiful ❤️ Your work is so inspiring!! Thank you so much for all you and your crew do!!!

  6. I love it! That’s what I want in my yard! BUT, we get such hot weather in summer and we freeze in winter….boohoo

  7. Beautiful job. I'm so glad you mentioned Driftwood Larry, you haven't mentioned him in a while 🎉. Also very excited about you using wet look 2000 again. I have some bolders in my front , I'm going to do ❤

  8. Beautiful Laura and DFS team! You inspired me to use more rock and boulders in my yard. I told my bf I want rocks for Valentines Day 😂😂

  9. This brings back memories. The original Laura signature. The main reason why I got hooked on succulent landscape.

  10. Laura, I have been a fan for years – always such beauty and artistry! I live in western Pennsylvania so this is out of the possibilities here, but how I wish I COULD ! 🙂 I will just keep watching and getting my fix this way. What a talent you are.

  11. I did my front yard with Xeriscape because I started watching Laura and originally wanted grass, but then saw that it was going to take so much water and wanted to be conscious of not wasting (although it's so nice to see the green) but my xeriscape has lasted about 5 years since I installed it and have barely done upkeep – I think this year I see a need to change some things and reset – This time around I'm going to weave in some fruit trees in pots and some veggies to make it even more sustainable. Let's see how it goes. Would love to see what Laura would do, or if she would do anything like that. Always love how she makes her xeriscapes and tapestries and now her daughter is part of the crew! All the family involved!! 👏👏
