I recently made a video about how some plants will actually try to eliminate their competition. If you put them in the same pot or too close together, they release toxins into the soil and when the other plants absorb this, they will die off. Now, 6 months ago, before I understood that concept, I put all of these varieties into the same pot. There’s three types of poo in here and three types of filidendrrons and one singium. And so far, that singonium is the only one that died off. And I’m not sure if it was a toxin thing that these other plants released, but that’s the only one that died and it was the only one that was by itself. But if you want some nice plants to put in a single pot, I can confirm that all of these plants grow well together. A neon poo, a mandula pto, a marble queen pto, filidendrron Brazil, filidendrin imperial red, and filidendrin barks. Follow for more tips.

I’ve neglected this plant more than I would like to admit. It was by itself in a lonely corner and this could be why the syngonium died, but hey all these other ones seem to love it!
