Okay, so if you’re tired of spending hundreds of dollars on flowers and plants in the summer and you want them to look beautiful all the way through the fall and the winter, use fake ones. That’s what I do. So, what you’re going to do is get a pot, fill it with some soil. It doesn’t even matter what kind of soil it is because, you know, these plants are fake. So, this is the cactus or yucka plant that I’m using. And so after you put that soil in there, just kind of dig like a little hole for that uh plant to go into. So I’m just kind of digging around there. And then I’m going to place that plant in there. And then just kind of make sure that it’s even on both sides. You know, pull push push it down in there because we want to make sure that that’s secure so that wind won’t blow it over or anything. So then after you get it secured in there, you’re going to get some pea gravel. So go get yourself some pea gravel. And first thing I started scooping this in and it was just taking forever. So I was just like, I’m going to pick this thing up. And it’s it’s really heavy, but I went ahead and picked it up anyways. And I’m just pouring it in there. And so you want to just kind of get it even. Just get it get it as high as you can right there. And then you can use your hands and just kind of smooth it around. on. And I know it’s kind of tilting the plant right now where it is, but just get a round boat. Oh, got my hair. That was a good one. Okay, so you’re just going to want to smooth that out and then just, you know, hand fill the rest of it in just to get it nice and even. This is what it looks like now. So, this is another plant. Now, yes, I’m checking for wasp right here. I don’t know if you saw that video, but I got locked out of my house and there was a huge wasp nest in one of these pots by my house. So definitely check that first. And then we’re just going to go ahead and take these old ones that I planted because the soil has gone down right here. So we’re going to need to put a little bit more soil there. So make sure you have some chicken wire. Put some flatten some chicken wire down there because um then the stems have something they can go into and secure. So then you put your dirt on. Make sure you pack it down so that these stems are going to have something to actually hold on to. So when you push them down in there, they’ll get to the chicken wire. And so we’re just going to start on the outer circle first. So we’re going around the outside. And I’m I’m finding the best ones. I’ve had these for about 3 years now, so it might be time for me to get some new ones, but they still look good enough for me. So you’re just going to place these around the outer circle part of them. And then you’re going to fill in the rest in the middle. And just make sure that you’re pushing them all the way down so that they’re secure so that wind if wind comes or rain, you know, it won’t blow those away or disrupt your arrangement. All right, so here it is all done. I actually had a neighbor come by and she wanted to take pictures cuz she wanted to know what kind of plants they were and I was like, “Oh, they’re fake.” Don’t forget to like and subscribe for more tips and tools from Stacy DIY.
