when the Cucumber grows buds or fruit nodes like this pinch them off immediately picking the fruit too early will prevent the plant from growing and it will also cause the first fruit to be deformed it is especially important to note that you should never top the cucumber plant as it only has one head in its lifetime

  1. Never do this!!! Cucumbers are idiot-proof.. anybody can grow cucumber just let it grow

  2. This channel puts out a lot of BS. Cucumbers will grow side branches. There are also many types of cucumbers.

  3. "picking the fruit too early will prevent the plant from growing" is exactly what you did.? Ive never done this. The first cucumbers are misshapen probably due to it being early in the season and you're not attracting enough pollinators. I plant early blooming flowers next to my beds before my veggies need pollinating so they're already in the area.

  4. Pick the fruit off immediately… picking the fruit off too early will prevent the plant from growing…. Time for bed 🤦🏼‍♂️

  5. I got cucumbers with multiple heads right now. Most cucumbers also won't pollinate themselves if you pick the flowers for most flowers are male and female and need each other. Don't do this.

  6. Dont do anything at all to
Your cucumbers. Just let it grow up a trellis or however you’re favorite method and leave it alone.

  7. Mine produced a deformed cucumber when small and almost died from lack of water from when I got my water problem fixed it's grew bigger leaves now and more female flower than male flower and females flower
