Biggest one in the county! City really wanted to try and save it for their park. We tried our best!
Used cobras dynamic 8t cabling system, put 4 threaded rods in the split, and covered the split with roofing rubber and painted it to try and not be such an eye sore. Hopefully it’ll last another 10-15 years!

Why not leave one cable high up to hold it together?
That tree needs to be removed or needs a very heavy crown reduction. You’re creating a hazard
