Pothos propagation help <3

hi!! my dad was gifted this pothos when my mom passed four years ago and he sadly hasn’t taken care of it. he’s moving to another city and asked me to take it and try and propagate it. I’ve never owned a plant before and have no idea what I’m doing. I’ve read about cutting and submerging the part that grows the leaf in water, and cutting the leafless bits and putting them in soil or moss?? Just looking for advice as I didn’t know this plant existed until yesterday lol.
