Beth Chatto’s Plants and Gardens, in Clacton Road, Elmstead Market, was founded in 1960 and features woodlands, a world-famous gravel garden, and a water garden.
The award-winning gardens of Beth Chatto OBE VM announced a TV segment was filmed on site and will be broadcast this week.
In a statement, the garden centre said: “We’re thrilled to share that Julia, Åsa and the team will be appearing on BBC Gardeners’ World this Friday at 8pm.”
Episode 32 will feature Arit Anderson exploring “a housing estate to see how a collaboration with a famous local garden has inspired far-from-typical planting”, according to the BBC Two’s programme information.
