Well I picked up some acorns to grow trees (there's a local agroecology/native plant group and we encourage gifting seeds/plants) but I think I may have more than I can handle, these are only the ones I found on the ground from just 4 different trees (and 4 different species aswell, Q. germana, Q. xalapensis, Q. sartorii and an unknown 4th) so I will probably will be planting in nearby parks and such

Nice! I gathered fruit from around 25 native trees and shrubs in the area for a small miyawaki project I’m doing. It was fun to go out and identify trees, figure out when things will fruit, etc.
