Hi all, we moved in to our home a year ago. There are three of this bamboo plants growing in the raised garden bed. I have seen them spreading across the bed and even spewing from underneath. I want to get rid of them and want to replace them with other shrubs or fruit bearing dwarf plants. Any idea how to get rid of them?

Is that really bamboo? Maybe ts my blurry eyes and but that doesn’t look like bamboo. Poking out the left side looks like boganvillia.
Firstly, you need to hit it with an appropriate herbicide as soon as you seem a shoot growing and keep checking and Spraying every week until the plant is defeated.
Letting it grow (as in pic 1) is allowing it to establish again.
