First time growing peppers, do I need to add a plant stake? The


It’s a chili Pequín plant, leaf miners and I have been going to war for the past couple of months and i keep having to use insecticidal super soap. But I think it’s still going strong, I fertilize every 12-14 days using water soluble fertilizer as well .

    Yes, absolutely.

    Your plant looks happy. Lots of branching about to occur. Give that stem the support it needs.

    I stake and put cages around my peppers. The ones that dont have enough support end up breaking branches when full of fruit
