Hey there !

Bought this Monstera about 1,5 year ago, and I got like 5 news leafs since.
The plant faces a South oriented window, with no direct exposure.
It’s installed in a pathway.
Watered around 1 time/week (+ mist on leafs), no fertilizer used (yet ?)
Temps are around 17-18C on winter up to 28C on bright summer days.

How can I improve this plants health ?
Pics were taken on a cloudy day.

Thanks for your help !

  1. Have you check the roots or repotted it since you got it?

  2. How far away does it stand from the window? Even a few feet away can reduce the light it gets a lot.

Besides that I have one that refuses to grow a new leaf since 2 months, no sign of that changing anytime soon. A different dod take 3 months for a new leaf even tho it gets plenty of light. So I think it’s normal☺️

Needs way more light. Is the soil dry when you water it? It sounds quite often, and your soil looks like it might need to be more chunky.

There are a couple things you can do. Make sure this monstera is drying out completely between waterings and start fertilizing her. 3-1-2 fertilizer usually does the trick. 5 leaves in a year and a half isn’t too bad though.
