A tree database im using to find trees says there's a "Fragrant Tea Olive" in this area, but i dont see anything that resembles it. Instead I found this fragrant flower with black berries in the same area but doesnt say what it is. Honeysuckle?

honeysuckle-it can be invasive, but you can keep it undercontrol.

That appears to be honeysuckle (Lonicera). Fragrant tea olive (Osmanthus species) looks very different. Small flowers.

Pull off a flower. Nip a small bit from the base of the flower then place it in your mouth and suck gently. You should be rewarded by a pleasant sweet taste. Hence the name ‘Honeysuckle’

    Another vote for honeysuckle.

The flowers are edible and can be used to make tea and jam.

Always loved the scent. I pick it and put in in a vase to enjoy the smell.
