I intend to cut this variegated trichocereus to make several grafts, it has been grafted on geometrizans since summer and it got almost 20 cm or more in size and the question I have is if now with this rainy weather is it a good idea to do the graft? I really have paraffin and I could make a completely waterproof film with this material to prevent water from entering. I want to hear recommendations, I want to do it because I continue to see growth in the plants and so if they are already attached for next season, that's what I'm working on ahead of time.

Graft in a shaded, covered area and leave it there for at least a week. At that point the union will be strong enough that the rain will not hurt it
