A West Yorkshire beauty spot will be get £145,000 of improvements including new footpaths, bulb planting and a sculpture trail, a council has said.
The funding to upgrade Scarth Gardens in Morley, Leeds, has been approved and the work is expected to begin at the end of November.
The project will also include a new access ramp, the refurbishment of existing steps and new artistic fencing with additional planting to “increase ambience and biodiversity” within the green space, Leeds City Council confirmed.
A local authority spokesperson said: “Economically, the project will make the area more attractive and safer, benefit local businesses and attract new investments.”
