Hello. I’ve been propagating this SOT from some fragments I found on the ground at a nursery. I’d like to get more “strings” going from it. If I trim some of the existing strings, they should branch and I can prop from the trimmed pieces, right? Currently in 1/2 cactus mix 1/2 perlite.

Very easy. Wrap one strand around same pot, pin it down. Put clear bag over pot, place in bright indirect light.
Heat and humidity are your friend! Mine weren’t growing very well, but when I moved them to a better spot? BOOM explosion. The original has put out like 8 strings from one spot.
