Palm Beach County Cancels La Quinta Inn Housing Plan
Palm Beach County cancels senior housing plan due to deplorable conditions at La Quinta Inn. Nearby residents relieved, officials face backlash.
One person is dead after a passenger train struck a dump truck at Northlake Boulevard and the Beeline Highway on Nov. 12 in Palm Beach Gardens.
Investigators did not immediately release the name of the person who died. At least one other person was injured, Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue said.
Fire Rescue said crews went to the crash scene west of Florida’s Turnpike at about 2:25 p.m. and found a passenger train near the truck, which had overturned. It did not specify the rail line to which the train belonged.
There will be traffic delays in the area both for trains and vehicles as the crash is investigated and crews clear the tracks, the agency said.
