My neighbor has been getting ready to move and has slowly been leaving plants on my door step because he’s realizing he can’t take them with him(or at least all of them). I’m still a new plant parent but I went from a couple plants to a bunch. Not that I’m complaining! It’s so pleasing to see them all when I come home.

Some of them were not so happy when I got them, they had had a kid recently and I think plants were obviously put on the back burner. I’ve worked to bring them back to life, and I’m really excited because lots of them are shooting out new growth! I trimmed so bad leaves and gave them some care and it seems to be going well.

I live in a townhouse tho and my building is in a horse shoe with two other buildings. My windows are east/west facing, and I try to get them all in comfortable lighting, but with the set up of our buildings, the lighting is kinda sad, especially in the winter. I use grow lights, tho I’m sure they’re not the best (theyre what I could afford).

But I’m pretty happy with my haul I’ve been collecting over the last little while, so I figured I’d share some of them. I don’t really truly know what I’m doing, so if you see something and got some advice let me know! But I definitely just wanted to show them off a little bit:)

(Btw, I’m very curious about the plant in the glass jar, is there a reason to keep it in there? He has a cling seal on it, I just took it off the take pictures? What should I do for care of them one?

Also the cool tub of many different plants, if some one could ID them that would be awesome, especially the dark green leaf in the right top part of the tub. It’s almost like shiny/metallic in person, like as you move the leaf it seems to shift colors, a little like iridescence? )
