Wesson Garden Club Butterbeans explore nature

The Butterbeans, a Youth Garden Club sponsored by the Wesson Garden Club, gathered at the Oswalt Trail of Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, for a trail walking experience and tree species exploration.

The Oswalt Trail, located at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, is a nature trail designated for walking or running, and named after Mr. and Mrs. Frank Oswalt who were long time supporters of Co-Lin. The Butterbeans were joined by Wesson Attendance Beta Club members and WGC members Sherri Carty, Debbie Hoaglin, Pam Owens, Jennifer Peets, Debbie Smith, and Sheila Stewart.

The Wesson Garden Club is a member of The Garden Clubs of Mississippi Inc., National Garden Clubs Inc., Deep South Garden Clubs Inc., and the Natchez Trace District of GCM.
