something is killing all the trees around my house. i was told the ants arent the issue… i originally thought it was all the vines blocking the top canopy so i cut them but that seems to of made the trees worse. im in north Alabama. ive noticed alot of trees in bank head forest also dying this year. any advice would be great.

I’m just seeing various forms of wood decay in a woodland setting, which is to be expected. There are structural issues or wounding which may have been the initial problem. There’s not any one obvious problem.
