Floral Peebles has once again curated a Tribute Garden in the Old Town.
The group was helped by volunteers to create the display with poppies and a burning amber ahead of the national day of remembrance on November 11, while Remembrance Sunday will be held on November 9 this year.
A spokesperson for Floral Peebles said: “Thanks to volunteers from the Girl Guides and Peeblesshire Youth Trust in helping us assemble the display.

“Within the area is a plot which demonstrates what destruction war brings.
“After November 18 the war and remembrance theme moves onto a warning of what could become of us.
“Pansies representing flames and modern day trash appears [and] hopefully 200 red and yellow tulips will flourish.
“Early summer will bring the usual bright colours which hopefully demonstrates what might be possible with a bit more care for our surroundings.”
