I've successfully propagated close to 100 leaves and (knock on wood) I haven't had any weirdness, until now. The babies on this leaf are actually growing up the stem and are not growing in the soil. I've been searching online for a few days and haven't found anything similar. Has anyone else seen this? Are the babies viable? Should I snip them off like suckers?

How fun! I would just leave it and see what happens but I don’t know enough about AVs to know if that’s a bad idea. Very fascinating though!
Any chance it’s a trailing AV? I’d leave it. The heart wants what the heart wants.
I had that happen with the first batch of leaves I ever propped. It happens.
One of my minis is doing the same thing. I’m curious to see how it goes
