Rehoboth Beach Museum and Rehoboth Beach Main Street invite the public to sign up for a Wednesday, Dec. 10 Christmastime day trip to visit Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa.
The bus will depart at 11 a.m. from the Rehoboth Beach Museum at 511 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach. From 1:30 to 5 p.m., guests will explore Longwood’s conservatories transformed into a holiday wonderland with towering trees in jewel tones, thousands of poinsettias and amaryllis, and gemstone-inspired lighting. Attendees will stroll through the illuminated meadow tunnel, enjoy a whimsical garden railway with miniature trains, and experience the open-air theater where 750 fountain jets dance to holiday music. Festive organ and carillon concerts will echo throughout the gardens.
The bus will return to the Rehoboth museum at approximately 7 p.m.
With only 56 seats available, early reservations are recommended. Tickets are $100 per person, and include round-trip bus transportation and admission to Longwood Gardens’ holiday display. Proceeds will help support both host organizations.
