I hate to net my brassicas as I feel it’s not getting enough sunlight. The weather is still warm where I am at and need to figure out how to deter these mofos till they die off at the first frost. I know they are beneficial pests but they are hurting my garden 😭 Jiminy gotta go! They have already ate half my collards.

Plant some bachelors buttons and other seed flowers to attract in finches and other birds. They’ll keep your grasshopper problem in check 🙂
Take up fishing? Otherwise you can grab them all, put em in a jar and euthanize them. Insect collectors have humane methods for this.
Before, my kale was full of holes even using nets. Now l check my kale every morning for butterfly eggs or caterpillars.
