City boy up until this year when I moved to the country. Built a couple raised garden beds to go with one that was already there. Fenced it off as we have deer and wild turkey roaming the area and added in pea stone gravel and extra pavers we had around the property.

Yielded a great harvest this year of romaine lettuce, cauliflower, tomatoes, green onion, cucumber and jalapenos. Our pumpkin plant did great as well yielding us 10 pumpkins.

Set the bar high for next season (plans already in place to upgrade the layout and add some areas to plant climbing plants as well as shade cloth as this area is full sun). For now it is put to sleep for the pending winter.

Won't lie…I will miss visiting it daily as it was sort of the calm/relaxing part of my day.
