The stepper planking all the way to the street seems unnecessary to me. I would remove 1/3 to a half of them toward the street and plant a mounded evergreen and flowers with a path light. Add structural shrubbery at the foundation of the house and a modern window box could be pretty. Boxwood hedging could work here if you like that modern style and I think there’s room for a columnar tree off the corner of the house if you are willing to remove a couple of the arborvitae that go all the way to the foundation. You’ll want a landscape architect to plan this.

There’s more information needed. I would take a picture and give it to chat gpt with as much information as you can like; position, climate, soil type, what you like/dislike etc. and just ask it to give you some designs. then you could always bring them here for discussion 🙂

An actual front walk, not a step path through stone, would go a long way towards welcoming your visitors.
Add in a deep front foundation bed with a dual layer of grasses, tall upright in the back and low mounding in the front. Possibly an ornamental tree to anchor the corner of the house by the driveway.
Just a few thoughts.

Swap out river rock with black river rock so you have contrast . Add a third pot on the right of entryway.
