Might want to consider pruning back the ground cover and putting in electric and or/barbed wire fence around the house itself in order to avoid being ambushed by something that is willing to hunt people. Not just you, but any small children are definitely at risk.

Well done! I did not see the other pictures until after the comments. I grew up in East Africa & somehow the vibe was speaking Motherland. It is great to see & have something close to home to follow.
