#greenhouse #greenhouselife

So, well, here we are today on a Saturday. It is icky and I am leaving to go on vacation. I will be in a 90 degree weather which will be fabulous. And I have the kiddo to look after the greenhouse. Yes, there’s a bird. um bird house above me and her mama the mama bird comes in to feed the bird baby birds. So my garden behind me is going to be taken care of by the kid hopefully. Um he does a good job. But that’s how far the garden’s going. I got cucumbers and lots of to cherry tomatoes in the back. Some Rome Rome tomatoes and um let me see if that’s the zucchinis. I can’t tell. I think that’s the cucumbers and those are the zucchinis. Yes. So, that is what’s going on. And have a fabulous time. Well, I’m going to have a fabulous time. I hope you all have a fabulous time. And I’ll be back when I don’t know when I’m back, I guess. All right. Peace, everybody. So, I went to South Carolina to celebrate um Independence Day uh with family and the kid did a fabulous job on my garden. And kudos to my husband, too, cuz he he also took care of my flowers. Um I took everything out of the greenhouse. But anyways, that’s how much it grew in one week. I was very surprised. I came home and I had to make a trellis. um trolluses for the cucumbers. So, yes, that’s how much it grew in one week from the first video. Um this is for the gardening group um that I’m on. Thanks, guys. Okay, here’s the garden. Yeah. So, it grew like crazy amounts. So, these are the uh the uh squash zucchinis. um go around. I do them in containers because it just what’s works for me. So, tons of tomatoes. I got Roma um in the middle. And then I got tons of um different kinds of cherry tomatoes, different breeds or whatever the heck they’re called. But I’ve been picking them when I came back from my vacation. Um as you can see, there’s a couple I’m going to pick today. So, but a lot of them we like the cherry because it’s high yield. I mean, you know, this is a different kind of cherry. Um, they’re a little bit bigger. They’re called uh I think what they’re called. The names are on there. Uh I can’t read it from here. But anyways, whatever they’re called. Um these are the cucumbers. I mean, this is the cucumbers. So, I had to make the Frankenstein uh thingies. This you can’t even see it cuz but this is the old as tall as me and they’re just you know those stupid cheap fences that you put around things and then they broke and then I just zip tied them together but it’s blends in and um they’re trailing up as you can see they’re trailing up nicely. Um they were hanging down on the ground and I mean I already got couple cucumbers in there growing. Um they’re, you know, like five inches already. Um I don’t know where the hell they are now, but um these I’m growing vertically. Uh these are just crazy. There’s already a whole bunch in there. Um I don’t know if you can see there’s one there, one there. And the other patch I can’t I’m not going to go crawl over there. But yeah, so that is the cucumbers. I mean the uh garden. Yeah, love it. I guess I packed it up just in time before it started to rain. Didn’t move the cot out of the way, but it’s okay. At least I got the cover on the on the bucket that I use. And thunder. I wonder if there’ll be a light show, too. Love that I can be on my covered porch. I think the dog ran in. The lightning scares her. Good morning everyone. It’s Jeep Girl. Um, it is now fall here in New England and I am taking down all of the plants and the yard decor for winter because our winters here are very harsh. Um, and I decided to come out and videotape my um garden. Uh, not gutter. The gutter I had thrown up last year. Um, I redid it. I did it this year. Um, I tweaked it up a little bit. Um, and this is what I had put up. worked out wonderful. Um, quick and easy because I have to take it down every year. I can’t leave it up or else uh, you know, storms here with snow and wind will destroy it. But that’s the um, rainwater collection. Um, quick. I just wanted to show you that’s what I use from April all summer. I have tons of water in there, too. I probably should open that up and show you. But I am going to dismantle it and just start using the water. Let’s see. Show you easy. Put that in here. [Music] Messy. I got tons of water in there. Let me see. That’s the rain water that uh I’m going to be using for the rest of the backyard. And then wash this all out and save it for next year and do it all over again. Um that saves me water but also time because I don’t have to pull up the the um long hose and with fibromyalgia it’s a lot of work for me. So, I’ve dismantled a lot of the yard stuff, so that’s why everything is over here. Um, I’m still working on the backyard, dismantling everything. Um, the garden and everything is still going, but little Miss Abigail. So, yeah, quick quick uh breakdown. I just wanted to show you. All right. Thanks, guys. Thanks for supporting me in my adventures putting them on. Um Oh, I should probably show you the uh peppers are doing fabulous in the uh garden. I mean in the greenhouse. Hold on, I’ll show you that. So, the peppers are still going. Um I’ve had them in the greenhouse. I just opened the door during the day when it’s really hot. Um but I’m going to keep them going until it’s too cold to be out here in New England, you know. Um, this is the temperature in the greenhouse right now. I don’t know if you can see it with the sun. Um, it says it’s 84 in here. That’s awesome, you know, for uh almost the end of September. So, but these are my peppers still growing. I’ve been picking them and picking them. Look at that huge one. Um, so yeah, all of these have been picked and been we’ve been using them. Here’s the uh fulls size one still going. Look at that one. It’s pretty darn big. Um, and then I got a couple in outside that I will be bringing in here. Um, I try to keep them going for as long as I possibly can. And Miss Abigail rolling around outside of the greenhouse trying to get my attention cuz she likes to come in here so I can give her cookies. And uh, yeah. So again, thanks for supporting us. And um, until the spring, I guess. I don’t know if I’m going to make another video this uh on the greenhouse this year. All right, thanks a lot. Keep girl out. And along with gardening, I did some crafts. So, I did the little country living sign and I made some flowers for my parents’ grave. I do it for every season, or I try to. And then I made this little plant stand out of um some scrap wood that I had. I also made a bird water feeder. Is that what it’s called? Um, and that came out cute. And then I made this little with odds and ends for um a little sign with a uh flower pot for the garden. Okay, as always, thanks for stopping by and appreciate your time. Barrel Jeep girl, so you do have to clean it. I’m cleaning it. Just a broom, some water, and a little bit of soap. Nothing spectacular. Just clean the bottom. Um, and put the cover back on. And then I put a piece of uh plywood over it. Next year I’ll clean it out again. But this is just to so I don’t have it sitting all winter. That’s it. Comes out nice and clean. And this is a rain barrel that will collect all the the rain um from the spring for me to use all summer. Just wanted to show you this. Thanks. See the little review. Not doing that.
