I was checking on my violets, and noticed this on it’s crown and suckers. It looks like rot, but the stem is healthy. Im kind of panicking rn since i just recently bought my dream AV collection, could this be INSV??

Crown rot usually caused by potting mix or water in between the leaves or contact with the soil. I see a lot of debris and perlite touching the leaves. That will do it It also can be a sign of root rot and water wicking up into the crown. Sadly it is rarely ever treatable once leaves in the center are affected. But it’s not INSV symptoms.

Be sure to propagate a leaf from each! Just in case you lose any, but also to share with others in your area who are also having a hard time with availability. Karma is very kind to AV people who share. 💜
