Taking place on Thursday 12th March 2026 at the sprawling Derbyshire estate, guests will enjoy a delicious two-course lunch and a garden tour led by internationally-renowned landscape architect Tom Stuart-Smith.
Winner of nine gold medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Tom will show how he brought his design flair to the grounds of one of the most majestic country homes in England. With early cherry blossoms blooming and primroses covering woodland edges, it’s the perfect way to soak up the spring season.

Tom Stuart-Smith Eva Nemeth
Spanning 105 acres, garden highlights include Elizabethan formal plots, Baroque waterworks, 19th-century picturesque landscaping, a 300-year-old Willow tree and many modern additions.
Tom has been working with the Chatsworth team since 2016, where he has been involved in redesigning the paths and planting in the existing Rock Garden.
The day is hosted in partnership with Horatio’s Garden – a charity that creates beautiful gardens in NHS spinal injury centres, supporting the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients, their families and NHS staff.
Tom has previously worked with the charity to design two garden spaces in London and the South East for spinal injury patients.
