I'm slowly, but surely, transforming my little suburban square into something that I (and the bees) love.

Where there once was invasive creeping ground cover and hostas, there is now stonecrop, meadow sage, columbines, hibiscus, hydrangeas, bee balm, asters, tulips, muscari, lupins, irises and delphiniums.

Where there were day lilies, there are now roses, echinacea, hibiscus, sweet peas, bleeding hearts, willow and wisteria.

Where there was river rock and grass, there are now raised beds with raspberries, blackberries, yarrow, blueberries and strawberries.

Where there was a rusty metal garden shed, there are now peach and plum trees, echinacea, yarrow, lupins, scabiosa, crocuses, daffodils, hyssop, ornamental onions, and another raised bed for who knows what next year.

It's been quite a journey, and I'm not done yet:). Would love to see your garden transformations too!
