Help! This was a gift from my daughter a couple years ago and I dont wanna lose it! She hasn't grown much, flowered or pup'd I feel like im constantly just barely keeping her alive… (im in Illinois so the cold and dry days are starting) any help or id would be helpful – someone suggested brachycaulos but I honestly cant tell. As you can see her leaves are curling inward so in guessing more water would be the best start…? Too much light? I keep her w my other airplants (last pics) in our sunroom so she gets a ton of indirect light and a smidgen of morning sun. There's an air purifier below them that gently blows twd them…could that be drying her out too much!? I soaked her yesterday for 30min trying to help her but normally I mist a couple times a week in the summer… I donk know how ive kept her alive this long but I would be grateful for any advice I can get!

I have no idea, though leaf curling inwards usually means a lack of water absorbed
Humidity? Can you get a small, clear box to store it in… make a mini greenhouse?
I see some new growth in the center, so I wouldn’t be too concerned, although it does look a bit dry. Maybe spritz a little more, like 3x a week. Good luck!
I’d soak her for 30-60 minutes once a week but I’m still pretty new to air plants so might wait for more experienced growers to chime in.
100% dry.
Soak for 30 min
Then mist every four days and see if is better.
Looks like you mastered the funkiana! Thats an amazing clump!
If you have dry air blowing on it yah, going to dry it out. Soak it weekly as a baseline, and try to get it out of the breeze. If you have a spray bottle mist it when you water your other plants.
I keep a half dozen in my bathroom, the shower keeps them pretty happy too, if you want to give it a little treat for a bit.
They love humidity, if it’s dry, gotta supplant the humidity some other way.
Some bromeleid fertilizer in the soak water is nice too, that’s what gets me blooms. I just keep a sealed tupperware with the lightly fertilized water in it and use that for soaks (when I remember, can’t say I do it weekly, they’re MUCH happier when I do though!)
