Currently, there are three ways to get the Mirage mutation in Grow a Garden: from the Safari Oasis event, from the Rhino pet, and from the Trinity fruit. So, let’s break down these methods in detail for your better understanding.
1. Safari Oasis Weather Event
The Safari Oasis event won’t happen readily when you open the game after the update. Before understanding this, you can check our Grow a Garden Safari Harvest event guide to know more about the event. All you need to do is submit the required plants to the Safari Joyce NPC, and ramp up the global points to 15,000,000,000 points to unlock the Safari Oasis event.
Once unlocked, the Oasis event can happen in the game at any random moment. You can further manually summon this event by using the Safari Totem charm available in the Safari Shop. While the Oasis event is active, the plants in your garden have a chance of getting the Mirage mutation.
2. Rhino Pet
The Rhino pet can be found by hatching a Safari egg. This Safari egg can be purchased from the Safari shop, but again, the egg must be unlocked when the global points cross the 125,000,000 mark. Still, the Rhino is a Mythical pet, and it has an 8.5% chance to appear out of the Safari Egg.

Having found the Rhino, place it in your garden, and it’s passive grants any random plant in your garden the Mirage mutation every 23.43 minutes. Although keep in mind, if there’s an egg in your garden, the Rhino’s passive has a chance to reduce its hatch speed instead of providing the mutation.
3. From the Trinity Fruit Plant

Finally, the third way is to plant the Trinity fruit seed in your garden. This seed can be purchased from the Seed Shop for 15,000,000,000 sheckles and is a limited edition one, available while the Safari event is active. Being a seed of the Transcendent rarity, it will be a lot harder to get this seed.
But once the plant grows in your garden, it has a chance of giving the nearby crops the Mirage mutation. Along with that, it can also give them other Safari-themed mutations, so getting Mirage will be a lot tougher through this method.
Best Tips to Get Mirage Mutation in Grow a Garden
Having known both the methods to get the Mirage mutation in the game, here are a couple of tips to maximize the chance of getting it:
Fill your garden with Rhino Pets: The best way to get the Mirage mutation is to get lots of Rhino pets and place them in your garden. Moreover, make sure that there are no eggs placed in your garden to maximize the chances of getting Mirage.
Contribute to the Safari Harvest as much as you can: While the Rhino pet is a great option, you must also contribute to the Safari Harvest event. The faster the community unlocks the Oasis weather event, the better the chances of getting the Mirage mutation.
Is the Grow a Garden Mirage Mutation Worth Getting?
Yes, getting the Mirage mutation can be worth it in the game due to its great sell value multiplier. Since the mutation boosts the selling price of the fruit by 13 times, they can sell at good profits. And, if the mutation is granted to some of the high-value fruits in your garden, you’ll become rich in no time.
Apart from all these, the Safari expansion update might bring a new questline that requires fruits with this mutation. At that moment, you might need fruits having Mirage as well.
So, that completes the guide on how to get the Mirage mutation in Grow a Garden, and how much sell value boost it can give to a fruit. So, are you excited to participate in the Safari harvest and get this Grow a Garden mutation? Tell us in the comments below.
