She’s growing a new leaf!

My rehab plant is finally pushing a new leaf!

I got this Alocasia dragon scale from the rehab table at a local plant shop almost two months ago and it was in a pretty sad state. She had two leaves, but one was well on its way to dying, and the other was quite droopy.

I brought her home and let her acclimate to my plant cabinet for a couple weeks. I eventually removed her dead leaf and introduced her to my standard houseplant nutrient solution once she’d settled in.

I repotted her a couple weeks ago into an aroid mix in a self-watering pot.

Now she’s finally growing a new leaf! I’m so excited to see it.
