Im new to taking care of plants. I live in Poland, and the temperature is really cold here. I don't know if I'm over watering them or under watering them. I left them in the sun for a bit and I feel like it made it worse. What should I do?

The key to keeping SoP happy is 1. A good well-draining succulent soil, if it stays soggy for too long it will hurt the roots (like any succulent), and 2. Lots of sun. If it’s never been in direct sun before you might need to acclimate it a bit by putting it there for gradually longer periods of time, but they do need plenty of light. Unlike other succulents they won’t get stretched to warn you they aren’t getting enough, they’ll just sort of start withering up and dying.

Edit: temperature shouldn’t be a huge problem unless it’s really low. Like if it’s on a windowsill in winter that’s accumulating ice that will definitely hurt it, but if it’s indoors and a comfortable enough temperature to live in, it’s fine.

Prop!! Just restart new and trial different soil mixtures/pots to see what they like best.

Looks mushy like overwatering or soggy soil. They prefer a shallow pot to crawl on and well-draining soil mix

I would cut off the best looking branches and start propagating in tiny pots. 2 or 3 strings per pot, with a few centimeters of bare branch buried under the soil and the pearls laying on top of the soil (remove the leaves on the buried part if needed).

You were correct to give them more light, but they probably got too much sun too quickly. Start them in the shade and move them into more light once a week. It’s almost winter though; I pull mine inside when the night temperature is regularly below 10 C / 50 F. I provide supplemental lights timed with the sun during winter, but I don’t think it’s required.

When you propagate, I would use potting soil mixed half and half with perlite – in some places I guess pumice is more common. Don’t water until the soil is all the way dry and the pearls’ windows start closing. When they’re small it helps to bottom-water them for thorough soaking and less potential for rot.
