So this was once a Maculata. The plant sitter I had left it outside and didn't water it well in Texas summer… ๐ It's health plummeted, so I trimmed it all back after all the leaves fell and tried to stick it in a high humidity environment to see if it could recover… I was giving up this morning and wanted to check the root system out, and there's still a little bit of growth here! Right now, I trimmed it down to that node, And I have it in a shallow cup of water so the roots can drink. Anybody got any other ideas??? Please and thank you!!!

In this is a leaf prop, cut from the stem, it has stratum and moss. Anything can bounce back or start in this little chamber.
