Ignore the Velcro ties on the petiole, they’re just sitting on there loosely because I’ve been too lazy to move them
The plant already has 2 aerial roots going bananas in the pole, and it hasn’t even been in this pot long. Can I just keep trimming them back for a while or has anyone had any bad experiences doing so?

Why do you want to trim them?
She needs a bigger pot
You absolutely can, but a bigger pot would be better.
I had one with roots like this. I cut the pot out to avoid tearing them all out. It was a little bit of work, but I ended up cutting the bottom up enough to get all of them out in tact. Idk if it helps, but I wanted to keep as much root as possible. It’s been doing good since then though!

Easier to cut the pot IMO
I know a lot of people are saying repot which may be good advice but it’s only been in the pot 3 months and I find this is inevitable with a setup that allows moisture to collect under the pot. Not a bad thing, and kind of the point of semi hydro, but monstera roots love chasing moisture and they’re gonna come out whether its root bound or not! I’d definitely say keep them relatively short and try to tuck them back in so they don’t get bound up outside of the pot.
It’s possible the rocks on top are pushing them that way? Perhaps pull it out if you can without damaging them, and if it still fits within that size pot, leave curl them under and add more soil. Rocks on top of soil cause it to compress which can lead to moisture retention and root rot.
