The Door County Master Gardener November Growing Together education series will present “Bee Lawns: Using your Lawn to Provide Food for Pollinators” on Monday, Nov. 3, from 1:30 to 3 pm at Crossroads at Big Creek, 2041 Michigan Street in Sturgeon Bay.
The video webinar is free and open to the public.
In this presentation, attendees will hear from University of Minnesota researcher Kristine Moncada on the research behind the bee lawns, the best lawn plant species, how to establish and maintain bee lawns, and more.
The Growing Together series of educational programs is free and open to the public and will provide information on relevant gardening topics for all levels of gardeners, from beginners to experienced.
The selected programs will present research-based gardening techniques that are in alignment with the education requirements of the Wisconsin Extension Master Gardener program.
The series of programs will be held at 1:30 pm on the second Monday of each month at Crossroads at Big Creek and will last approximately one hour. A light refreshment social will follow.
