  1. BTW has anyone checked out the Siver cloud by Colorblends? I dont know how I missed it ! Next season for sure!

  2. I purchsed several of those green mountain boxwoods on clearance at the end of the season. Do you think they will overwinter inb my greenhouse ? Just built a cedar 12X18 greenhouse and I am learning what I can do. I am in zone 6B. Currently have a small electric heater in there to take the edge off. Used to do all my seeds in winter sowing. This will be a game changer! Fan of yours since the townhouse days!

  3. Love your "off-label" use of the kneeling pad! We gardeners are a creative lot for sure! Thanks for a calming start to my day.

  4. I learn something or I’m reminded every video of something in the garden I need to pay attention to or a new fact. Thank you for sharing with us.

  5. I just realized that I forgot to add Bulbtone to the pots I planted last week. Do you think I should dig them back out and replant them with the Bulbtone now ? I planted both tulips and daffodils in my pots. Or will I still get a decent bloom show without ?

  6. What a beautiful show that will make next spring! I get a little obsessed in late winter/early spring going out every day to see if I can find the beginnings of any daffodil or tulip foliage poking through yet. They are such a stunning reward after a bleak winter. *Question* Do you anticipate the roots of the crabapples ever making it difficult to plant bulbs in those areas, similar to the maples on the west side where you planted the lamium this year? Or since the crabapples are a much smaller tree, do you think you'll always be able to work around their roots? If you do anticipate that happening, would you do something like daffodils that will come back more reliably each year? Or just not do bulbs in those areas once planting becomes difficult?

  7. If it were me and of course it isn't but I would weed whack that annual bed and till it back in. You can't do that if you plant bulbs but it would nourish the soil and not have to add so much compost.

  8. 800 more reasons to look forward to spring! I gave up on tulips here in CT but you inspired me to go for it this year. It really is worth the effort even if they don’t naturalize. Thank you for your wonderful videos-I greatly appreciate them!!

  9. Sometimes I find myself watching satisfying boxwood trimming shorts/reels for hours… Question: Do you notice any pest damage on those green velvets? They look perfect on camera… looking to install a parterre similar to yours and want to pick out a good boxwood… thank you.

  10. Don't get me wrong. I love music, but I would rather hear sounds of the rake and the trimmers and the natural sounds that come along with yard work than listen to music. Even Benjamins bird sounds would be enjoyable. I love your channel so much. Please don't take offense it's just a suggestion 😊

  11. I’m so surprised you trimmed boxwoods at this time of year. I was told not to trim within 6 weekend of frost because of the plant not being able to recover.

  12. Hi Laura, I love your channel and I watch you every single day! Quick question, I want to trim my boxwood too but I’ve been reading that fall isn’t a good time to trim bc boxwoods may push out new growth before winter and that may bring on more issues. I’m in zone 7. Do you regularly trim your boxwoods in the fall? Have you ever had any issues?

  13. Might be a silly question, but could the end cap boxwoods be swapped around so you have all same size shrubs on each end cap? Could you move the small boxwoods from one side and place them on the other side with the small ones; and take the larger ones and move them over to the other side end cap ? Then each end cap would have same size boxwoods. See , told you it was a silly question. 😉
Happy Gardening! Thank You for all your inspiration and sharing your beautiful gardens and landscapes with us!!

  14. I would love to see more of the clean up work. Its so motivating and satisfying. Would love to see more clips incorporatet. Greetings from germany 🙂
