My 18 month old Avocado is growing out instead of up
I've seen lots of avocado images, but my 18 month old tree grown from seed is branching sideways and is only growing upwards very slowly.
Should I prune the branches back to encourage more height?
Put it outside and treat it as normal tree maybe if you prune it gonna has more branches

Plants, especially trees tend to grow directly towards their strongest source of light. Pruning will redirect growth, but even if it does redirect some growth upwards, it will always follow the light. Rotating the pot is an option, but not one likely to directly result in upwards growth.
