You can still thin them out and transplant them the same way you would seedlings grown in a tray.

pinch the base of the ones you want to thin and gently wiggle it side to side. they should come out with enough root that you can replant them where you’ve got space. they are tough buggers

I would use a knife to slice off all but 5 plants at ground level. you can stir fry those baby leaves. The 5 remaining plants ought to have enough room to grow nice heads. Depending on your weather, some of those smaller plants may be able to be dug up and transplanted but will need to be kept wet until they recover.

Season’s almost over isn’t it? I’d still thin out what you can now anyway and just have baby or microgreens.
