


A POPULAR Harlow Indian restaurant is vying to be crowned the best in the country at a set of national awards.
Oceanic Awards has revealed the finalists for the Food Awards England 2025.
The awards look to honour the “exceptional talent, dedication, and passion” displayed by restaurants, chefs, eateries, suppliers, and various food establishments across England.
In the category of Best Indian Establishment, two spots in Essex have been nominated.
In the Best Indian Establishment category at the Food Awards England 2025, there are 29 restaurants nominated, split across North, Midlands and South.
Among those nominated in the South category were the Garden of India in Bush Fair, Harlow and Jalsa Ghar Indian Restaurant in Dunmow.

This year’s winners will be announced at a ceremony in November
The finalists were selected following nominations that were open to the public through online platforms and social media.
Alongside public submissions, the team at Oceanic Awards draw on their industry knowledge to recognise “standout businesses and individuals who exemplify excellence in their field”.
Voting will remain open until one week prior to the event.
