I recently repotted my Monstera and added a moss pole for it to climb!

While I know the new setup is the proper way to do it, I can't help but think it had a stronger presence leaning back on a 45° angle.

What do you all think?

I might change the angle back next time I re-pot.

Straight up. That’s how it would grow in the wild.

It is better to have the moss pole slightly angled, as the leaves get bigger and heavier the pot will tip over so tilting the moss pole a bit helps balance that.

Interesting thought! My plant is still small, but i’ve bought eveything i need for the moss pole. I might just angle it back a bit (probably not 45*). 😎
