Hi. I like the general shape of this hornbeam. Are there certain species that don't grow too big and keep this general shape. Any tips welcome.

    Dont where you are,but the ‘chanticleer’is virtually the shame shape.An ornamental Pear,medium growth rate,Really pretty white spring blossom,and shape-wise exactly the same as yours.No pruning required.

    magnolia grandiflora ‘Francois Treyve’ is a cultivar that’s pyramid shaped. I’ve got a 3/4 standard so the trunk is clear.

    The term for this tree shape is fastigiata. If you look up any common species of tree and then see if they have a fastigiata cultivar you likely find one.
