I've obtained this baby yucca from the mother plant (third photo) four days ago, and was waiting for it to callus over to put it in a mostly inorganic substrate. Could someone give me any tips? I'm thinking it will not survive this young…

As far as I know that is a way you can propagate them, it has some green so it should do okay. (Chlorophyll for photosyn.)

Yuccas are very hardy plants. I’m sure it’ll do fine. You may be able to find one that has been pruned from somewhere too
