Hoping someone can help me save these. Just got home from a 2 week absence and found 11 Norways with some degree of yellowing/browning of the needles. Indiana zone 6a/6b. It only rained once during that time, 1 week in we got 1.3".
No need to worry, looks like it’s just losing its old needles. Conifers hold onto their needles for a few years, these are just old needles having their nutrients reclaimed by the tree, sealing them off, and letting them fall.

Per Utah State University, Norway spruce hold their needles for 6-10 years. When stressed, half that time. This info may help you decide what is going on. Perhaps just ensuring they get watered during droughts will help them overcome the stress.
